The following guided tour will take you through the steps to brighten an otherwise dark and dull image in Adobe Photoshop CS. This tour only provides one example of how to brighten one particular image; every image is different. The following steps are just general ideas to help you with those dark images. As always, it is up to your personal preference for image coloring, therefore, these are only suggestions and you can adjust the different settings to fit your needs.
