Brio Tuscan Grille

Stop #1 on the mom birthday extravaganza!

Brio really is delicious. It's not the place you go if you want to get drunk though; it's a little too fancy for that. But if you want some delicious Italian food, then by all means, go ahead!

We started with some of their amazing bruschetta. We ordered their special of the day which was a chicken something or other, but then I also ordered their "Sliced Steak Bruschetta" and it was AMAZING!

For dinner, I planned on being good, mainly because we were going for dessert at another restaurant, but whatever. I ordered their "Bistecca Insalata", which is a fancy way of saying "wedge salad". Now, I have never really thought the wedge salad made much sense. It's just a wedge of lettuce with toppings on it. It just seemed like a lazy man's salad, but it came with all of the toppings that I love, so I decided to just do it. Oh man, it DID NOT disappoint! It was super crisp and refreshing. And the parmesan dressing was made from scratch and probably the best dressing I've ever had (except for the gorgonzola dressing from Flancer's). I will absolutely get the "wedge salad" again!
