Captain America: The First Avenger

Ok, I'm gonna be honest with you on this one. I was really looking forward to seeing it after I saw Thor the last weekend, but I was kinda disappointed.

I don't know if it was because it took place in a different time period, or because the costume was ridiculous, or there wasn't enough shirtlessness, or what, but I just wasn't feeling it like I was with Thor.

I LOVED that Sebastian Stan was in this movie and actually played a good guy, since filmmakers seem to always cast him as the asshole chracter and then I feel like an asshole for rooting for the asshole. See? It's just a vicious cycle.

I gotta say, though, CGI'ed skinny Chris Evans was the creepiest thing I have seen in a long time! Seriously. I understand that Chris Evans is not a short, scrawny guy, but COME ON! That was just weird. Now, ripped Chris Evans was not creepy at all. I repeat, NOT creepy. More of that please.

Dominic Cooper. Ahhh, Dominic Cooper. I usually don't like thin mustaches because I always think they look kinda "rape-y", but I don't know, on Dominic Cooper, it just works. I love this man and will always love this man, no matter how "rape-y" his thin mustaches get in movies.

Stanley Tucci.

Don't get me wrong, the movie was good, but Thor was better. Iron Man was better. Of the movies that have been released for "The Avengers" characters, I would have to rank this one at the bottom of the list.

Come on, America, you can do better than this.

At least I know that Sebastian Stan will be back for the next and have a bigger role, so you know I'll be there with asshole bells on!
